FIFA 14 is a soccer game where you can play as many real athletes and manage your own team. This game comes with many different play modes so that you can enjoy the game for many hours. Like all other previous versions of FIFA, this version has updated graphics that make the players, movements and everything else look incredibly realistic.

Various Game Modes

Like many other sports games, this one features various game modes. This allows you to play by yourself, with friends and to enhance your skills. The main mode is Career Mode. This is a single-player mode where you go about building the best soccer team ever to win the championship. Not only do you work to improve the skills of your current athletes, but you can send observers to scout out new talent to improve your roster. You can also trade players to get better ones from other teams.

There are a few online multiplayer modes that let you play with friends or random people online. The newest mode is Co-Op Seasons. This allows you and a friend to manage a team. You'll be playing against other teams with two real players trying to beat you. This is an exciting mode where you can devise complex strategies while outsmarting the opponent. This mode has ranked matches and you can compete for first place. If you'd rather control the team yourself, then the Versus Mode allows you to play against a single real player.

If you want to improve your athletes while also learning more about the game mechanics, then you can try Skill Mode. This teaches you about the various skills that you can use during a match. You'll learn how to dribble, use advanced moves and how to master the basics. Of course you'll also learn how to make your character celebrate after an impressive move.

FIFA 14 changed the interface for the better. It's now much easier to choose the game mode you want. Those with played previous versions of FIFA will immediately love the change as it makes the game more enjoyable.

Artificial Intelligence

The game's Artificial Intelligence, or AI, has been reworked for this title. The developers wanted this to feel more realistic and you'll see how the computer makes creative and strategic plays based on the situation. For example, the computer player might turn defenders, check runs, run along defensive lines and use other moves to confuse you.

They will also react to situations. For example, if the clock is running down and the computer opponent has more points, they will keep the ball behind their line as long as possible to run down the clock. You will have to be more aggressive to get the ball and score a point to win.

Many players aren't soccer professionals and may not realize what's going on. That's where the Team Intelligence feature comes in. Between plays you'll be shown hints on what the opponents are doing or what they might start doing. This lets you better understand the mechanics while also giving you ways to counter these tactics. Not only that, but this system gives you specific ways to counter the situation, which makes you feel more like a professional soccer manager.

Improved Physics

The ball and player physics have both been improved for this game. This makes the game more realistic and also gives you more control over your shots and plays. Ball control is much more realistic in this version because you can use your body to protect the ball. This can help with possession and stalling tactics. This wasn't possible in previous FIFA iterations.

Shooting is better than ever with Pure Shot. This works based on the context of your play. You will be able to easily determine the right angle and location for your shot. This ensures you can easily make goals even in difficult situations. The shots are simple to calibrate and the game will show you the realistic trajectory.

Realistic Graphics

Like other top-tier sports games, FIFA 14 has highly realistic graphics that will make you feel like you're watching a real match. This version has improved graphics along with more realistic animations. While you can still tell that you're playing a game, the 3D models and movements look almost human. For example, the animations for sprinting, rotating, slowing down and changing direction have all be improved to look more fluid. This was done by watching real athletes and copying the movements.

It's not just the movements that look better. The athletes have more realistic faces and expressions. Their bodies have been improved to look like real people. Even the texture of their uniforms looks more realistic. This ensures that you get fully immersed in the game while managing your team.

FIFA 14 is a member of the FIFA family of soccer simulation games, and it adds a number of new features that focus on increasing realism while improving gameplay.

The new features introduced in this game were built to make the playing experience more enjoyable, and they do so by bringing the game's realism to a new tier.

Player animations have been improved drastically over FIFA 13. The game features a new graphic processing system called Precision Movement, which creates smooth motions when players rotate, sprint, slow down, or change directions.

Since the game is more realistic, players are able to control the ball with enhanced precision. With this new system, players can shield their position with their body, which offers increased protection against stealing. This feature helps the player control the game's pace, and it gives them a way to stall for time if necessary.

FIFA 14 uses a new approach to handling ball physics and shooting. The game has a Pure Shot feature that helps you find the optimal angle and location for your shot. You can calibrate each shot down to the individual millimeter, and you can preview the potential trajectories of the ball thanks to the new physics system.

To instill more realism in the game-controlled defensive players, defenders now use a dynamic pressure system that allows them to react to a bigger picture of the overall gameplay. This helps the defenders make decisions with less impulsivity and more reliability.

In FIFA 14, EA introduced a new type of online multiplayer. They called this new mode Co-op Seasons, and it allows you to play with a friend against an opposing team of two. These online matches are ranked, and players vie for the league title by working toward first place.

To help you gain greater skill, a number of mini-games have been included in FIFA 14. For even more help, you can use the tutorial section to learn how to perform player celebrations, advanced techniques, dribbling skills, and basic movements.

The user interface for FIFA 14 has been redesigned with greater aesthetic appeal and usability. Unfortunately, the Team Management, Tactics, and Training menus were left out of this update.

While the menus and user interface of FIFA 14 are fairly impressive, the realistic controls and gameplay are where it truly shines. If you played FIFA 13, you won't have to learn any new controls, but you will have to get accustomed to the improved maneuverability of the players.

Players respond to commands efficiently and quickly, and the game has been paced for promoting teamwork. This results in optimal fluidity, and you can easily see these upgrades when players engage in one-on-one action. With such fine control and improved ball physics, you can perform volleys and plays that might have been impossible in older versions.
